Santa Cruz da Graciosa

In Santa Cruz you´ll find ancient streets and lordly houses, a nice Principal Church - of the XVIth century and XVIII-, the Saint's Church Christ - century XVI-, the Cruz da Barra - manuelino - and the Ethnographic House. In the Furna do Enxofre can be admired a few dazzling sights and an interesting cave arched on an underground lake - between 11:00h. a.m. and 2:00. p.m. the light of the Sun filters in its interior. Also must visit Guadalupe and its Baroque church, and Lu and Praia - typical windmills.

In the village we find two old tanks of water used as drinking-troughs in the past for the cattle, and bucolic araucarias and elms. Between the places to visit we find: the Church of the Parish, the Saint's Church Christ, the Belfry, the Cruz da Barra, the Chapels of the Monte da Ajuda and the Ethnographic House.
