Middle Group: Five ISLANDS

The Middle group is formed by Terceira, São Jorge, Graciosa, Pico and Faial. This five petrified magma icebergs are the summits of the great submarine range that is seated over the confluence of the three tectonics patches that cracks the earth’s crust.
