How to get there.

The regional SATA-air makes daily flights to this island, normally from the airports of Ponta Delgada and Lajes de Terceira. The estimated time flight is 30 minutes.

The maritime transportation can also be used as many regular lines exists that connects the island with Faial (at one hour and fifteen minutes in the stop of a trip between Roque de Pico and Madalena), Pico (30 minutes of travel) and Terceira (at two hours and a half), although the final duration of the different journeys depend on the ferry that is used.
